Each time Tara and I visit Branson, MO, our family (an all-golf kind of family) insists on testing their skills at Pirate’s Cove. Tara and I are slightly less competitive than the others, and usually choose to golf in our own group. This means we typically mentally give up after about hole 15. (Though, I have to admit, we look like professionals.)
After a long round of putt-putt, ice cream is a must. We suggest Cakes-n-Cream, a family favorite. Here we are at a young age sloppily eating cones (maybe this was during my “I don’t like ice cream” phase?). The lower half, a genius creation, is called an “Ozark Mountain Sundae”.
